Swan Bell Tower

PERTH, WA

Situated in Barrack Square on the banks of the Swan River, the Swan Bell Tower is known as one of the world’s largest musical instruments and Western Australia’s millennium project.

The copper clad external sails evoke strong links to the Swan River, with the weathered copper cladding reflecting the states mining history

The 82.5 metre tower was custom designed and built to house the historic bells of London’s famous St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, which date back to the 14th Century.

The structure comprises a double height entry lobby, administration offices, bell ringer’s podium, bell viewing gallery, and observation deck; as well as the 60 metre glass spire.
